Questions about the website SEO checker
What does the website SEO checker measure?
Four categories from Google's own testing tools: Performance (page speed, Core Web Vitals), SEO (meta tags, crawlability, structured data), Accessibility (alt text, contrast, ARIA), and Best Practices (HTTPS, image formats, console errors). Each gets a 0-100 score.
What are Core Web Vitals?
Three metrics Google uses for ranking: LCP (Largest Contentful Paint: how fast your main content loads), INP (Interaction to Next Paint: how responsive your page is), and CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift: how stable your layout is). Green = good, orange = needs work, red = poor.
Does this affect my website?
No. This tool only reads your page. It doesn't change anything. It uses Google's PageSpeed Insights API, the same tool Google provides publicly. Your website is not affected in any way.
How often should I check my website?
After every major change (new features, design updates, plugin installs) and at least monthly. Page speed degrades over time as you add content and scripts. In our AI visibility service, Serpa tracks your pages every week.
